The film follows the son of a village Sarpanch who is passionate about movies. He cycles to a distant village to watch films in a small theatre, where even the black-market ticket seller respects his passion and ensures he gets a seat. The boy immerses himself in these stories and narrates them to his friend who cannot afford to watch them and later to his entire class, becoming a beloved storyteller. As he grows up, the film reveals this tale is a "film within a film," showing the journey of a
